Abstract

MARTINS, Paula Gruman  and  SILVA, Milena da Rosa. The psychoterapist and the infant with subjectivation disorders. Estilos clin. [online]. 2017, vol.22, n.3, pp. 488-506. ISSN 1415-7128.  http://dx.doi.org/10.11606/issn.1981-1624.v22i3p1-19.

In this study, we discuss the concept of disorders of archaic subjectivation, proposed by Victor Guerra as an alternative to diagnose autism. The authors suggest that the psychotherapists who dedicate themselves to such early intervention cases need specific subjective qualities: to be especially available to intersubjective encounters and mainly to hold an attitude of hope towards these patients, never doubting the subject's becoming.

Keywords : parents-infant psychotherapies; autism; attitude of hope; disorders of archaic subjectivation.
