Abstract

REVAH, Daniel. The "in lack" teacher as a crystallized figure. Estilos clin. [online]. 2017, vol.22, n.3, pp. 556-575. ISSN 1415-7128.  http://dx.doi.org/10.11606/issn.1981-1624.v22i3p1-20.

One of the teaching figures that pedagogical discourses have produced in Brazil, in the scope of basic education, and that tends to prevail in the last decades, is that of the teacher who must be oriented in their thought and educative action by specialists of diverse order. This 'in lack' teacher, unable to respond adequately to what is expected of them by their own means, has become, in many discourses, the main obstacle to achieving the desired quality of teaching. This article highlights some aspects of the construction process of this teaching figure and discusses its possible transformation considering the discursive devices that sustain it.

Keywords : teacher; pedagogical discourses; continuing education.
