Abstract

MARFINATI, Anahi Canguçu  and  ABRAO, Jorge Luís Ferreira. REFLECTIONS ON PSYCHOANALYTICAL PRACTICES WITH AUTISTIC CHILDREN IN BRAZIL. Estilos clin. [online]. 2018, vol.23, n.1, pp. 152-174. ISSN 1415-7128.  http://dx.doi.org/10.11606/issn.1981-1624.v23i1p152-174.

This paper is the result of a research that sought to understand the emergence and development of psychoanalytical practices related to the treatment of Brazilian autistic children, from 1990 to 2010. To reach the proposed goals, we used two historical sources: documentary and oral. The first one was used so that we could identify the psychoanalytical practices and check which professionals published most in the field, who were later interviewed. Through the analysis of the interviews, we expatiated important issues to understand psychoanalytical practices developed in national territory, presented throughout this article.

Keywords : autism; psychoanalysis; history; Brazil.
