Abstract

ALMEIDA, Alexandre Patricio de  and  NAFFAH NETO, Alfredo. Psychoanalysis and school education: resonances of Sándor Ferenczi for a care pedagogy. Estilos clin. [online]. 2019, vol.24, n.2, pp. 262-275. ISSN 1415-7128.  http://dx.doi.org/10.11606/issn.1981-1624.v24i2p262-275.

In this article, we intend to explore the possibility of proposing an educational action, supported by the care ethics, guided by the contributions of Sándor Ferenczi's psychoanalytic theory. To do so, the authors begin the text with a brief discussion about the current situation of school education, pointing out the need to pay attention to the dimension of affection and emotions within the pedagogical field. Next, the discussion is supported by the presentation of some central aspects of Ferenczian thought. Finally, through this dialogue between psychoanalysis and pedagogy, it is postulated to construct a teaching behavior based on the students' empathy, creativity and freedom of expression.

Keywords : psychoanalysis; Sándor Ferenczi; education; school.
