Abstract

BUECHLER, Flávia Tridapalli  and  KAMERS, Michele. Childhood under the phantom of The Child: imperatives of enjoyment of our time. Estilos clin. [online]. 2020, vol.25, n.1, pp. 123-134. ISSN 1415-7128.  http://dx.doi.org/10.11606/issn.1981-1624.v25i1p123-134.

Through psychoanalysis and its interface with the field of education we seek to discuss in this paper what the clinical work with children reveals about the malaise and the imperatives of enjoyment produced by the dominant discourses of our time: the discourse of technoscience and of capitalism. To this end, the paper highlights the place childhood occupies in the modern social scheme, the idealized representation of The Child (Lajonquière, 2008, 2010) and the illusory promise of completeness that specialized knowledge and the logic of the market hold in rejecting the structural malaise of human and social life. In this sense, it reflects on the objectification of the child-subject, the risk of not elaborating the wonderful Child bereavement and the ethical positioning of the psychoanalytical clinic.

Keywords : childhood; education; psychoanalyses; time.
