This article states that work, in order to be satisfactory and healthy, should be an ethical praxis. The role of the work psychologist is discussed from this point of view. In this article, we seek to reflect about the meaning of the psychologist’s professional action within the organizational context from psychodynamic assumptions and premises, and demonstrate that the effectiveness of this action is directly related to the construction of a diagnosis and an ethically oriented intervention.
