Abstract

This paper aims at discussing a concept of Work Psychology seeking to show its specificity in relation to Organizational Psychology, guided by an emphasis on psychodynamic aspects of work. It further aims at discussing the psychologist’s place and the use he makes of listening in Work Psychology. The design presented was built under the Pact (Laboratory of Occupational Psychology of Umesp) from the contacts with small and medium-sized organizations in the ABC region of the state of São Paulo, having psychoanalysis and Christopher Dejours’s propositions as its key references.
