This paper aims at reporting the experience of the clinic psychology service on the Health Multiprofessional Residency Program in Instituto de Cardiologia. Through a partnership established by Health Ministry  and Instituto de Cardiologia do Rio Grande do Sul/ Fundação universitária de Cardiologia, there has been an integration of the Especialization programs in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Nutrirtion and Psychology. The Integrated Residency Program has as its goal to mediate activities of integral health care, study activities on the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary practices regarding the health system, considering the current health policies. The integrated activities happen through the participaion on rounds on in-patients units, discussion of case studies, presentation of cientific articles, besides activities of psychological assistance in hospital units. It is understood that psychology participation on this program estimulates the consideration of the pycho-emotional questions regarding the processes of illness and hospitalization, contributing  for the comprehension of the subjects in their biopsychosocial aspects.
