The objective of the present article is to reflect about the need of integrated intervention on health assistance, as well as the way this integration occurs on the health institutions. In face of several disciplinary integration levels, this reflection recovers from the literature some definitions as multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams, to, on the sequence, raise the obstacles that difficult or block the interdisciplinary integration full practice. Starting from the proposed analysis, it follows that persons, teams and institutions need to remodel some principles and concepts to achieve a more coherent and complete practice on the health promotion.
