Abstract

Begining with the construction of one of the mental health sections in the Pedro Ernesto University Hospital, I identify the presence of psychoanalysis in this construction process through three moments: the instant of Glance, the time of understanding and the moment of conclusion. This drives me to the axiom that psychoanalysis not only has a hudge contribution to sustain a particular place in the hospital, but that it also has do get always better instrumentalized in order to optimize this sustenance. I therefore depart from the hypothesis that psychoanalysis gets this sustenance by increasing theoretical studies, only way to stop the fragmentation of the subject based on the idea of a cerebral individual, idea that forcloses the subject, threatening all possible medical-patient relationship.
