This article presents some reflections and proposals about psychological evaluation practice in HIV/Aids context, focusing on the antiretroviral treatment adhesion of these patients. The main hypothesis is that diagnostic and clarification of underlying psychological aspects to the disease and to the patient demeanor to the treatment can promote more efficient interventions by the multiprofessional team and prevent an aggravation of patients health.
