The multiprofessional residencies in health were been created based on a new vision about the health attention and workteam. The incentive of the national health system through the ministries of education and health aims to promote skills training for these professionals. This article reports an experience of the first year of residency in Multidisciplinary Health in a university hospital in Salvador - BA, in the perspective of four residents included in the program. The pedagogical proposal is based on training that occurs at a dedication of 60 hours per week with theoretical and practical activities. Initially, there was a period in primary care and after, in hospital, with the passage of several wards, practicing multiprofessionality. In the second year, residents can choose one of three specialties: Mental Health, Children Health ou Adult Health with specializing in cardiovascular diseases. Some questions about the role of Psychology in this context were done as reflection. The contributions, challenges and gains were highlighted about the experience of multiprofessional residency in the hospital context.
