Abstract

Adherence to treatment is the most important factor for the effective control of many diseases, and it is extremely important to know the factors that influence the complex framework of accession or not the proposed treatment by the doctor to his patient. Most of the material published on the subject is of the point of view of the medical evaluation. The knowledge of the reasons that the adherence to the proposed treatment, from the patient's point of view, can help to create interdisciplinary programs that enhance this process, providing higher quality of life, especially for the scarce financial resources and socio-cultural population.
