BAIAO, Darli Chahine; MACIEL, Regina Heloisa e SANTOS, João Bosco Feitosa dos. Is it possible to talk about collaboration in Brazilian hospitals?: An integrative literature review. Rev. SBPH [online]. 2019, vol.22, n.1, pp. 05-27. ISSN 1516-0858.
The practice of collaborative actions in hospitals seems to be a tendency that seeks to adapt the services to the demands of today's world. This study aimed to investigate how collaboration in different contexts is being used in Brazilian hospitals. An integrative review of the literature on the CAPES portal was done using the descriptors: "Hospital+Collaboration", "Hospital+Collaborative" and "Hospital+Teams", in the years 2006-2016. After analysis, the 39 articles were divided, according to approximations, into five categories: teamwork, innovation, management, leadership and collaboration. Subsequently, the IRAMUTEQ software was used to analyze the parts of the publications. Studies on collaboration are scarce and, despite the recognition of their importance, they are still only an ideal in Brazilian hospitals. In the studies analyzed, the term hospital collaboration is used in a very broad sense, not representing the concept present in the international literature.
