Abstract

KIERNIEW, Janniny Gautério; FROHLICH, Cláudia Bechara  and  MOSCHEN, Simone Zanon. Fictional narratives in Pain and Palliative Care: the construction of Ateliê Jardim de Histórias. Rev. SBPH [online]. 2019, vol.22, n.1, pp. 72-90. ISSN 1516-0858.

This text introduces the initial considerations of an intervention-research in a general hospital of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It concerns the construction of the initial methodological steps of a device entitled Ateliê Jardim de Histórias. From the field of experience, our goal is to establish a research that, supported by theoretical discussions from the psychoanalysis developed by Freud and Lacan, as well as from the fields of arts and education, might indicate paths for continuous training in health. The study aims to discuss the role of working with fiction as a way of extension of the narrative conditions of those who care for patients in the Pain and Palliative Care Sector.

Keywords : psychoanalysis; hospital; art; fiction; continuous training.
