The National Humanization Policy aims at the formation of collectives in favor of transformations in health. SensibilizArte, a university extension project, is configured as one of these formations, intermediated by expressive resources such as Storytelling. In this context, the objective was to investigate the use of Storytelling in the humanization of training and health care based on the experience of five professionals from different health areas that integrated SensibilizArte. This is a qualitative, exploratory research, conducted from semi-structured interviews and using content analysis to analyze the data. The results point to the importance of multidisciplinary work, the need to build a close relationship with the patient, and the importance of the protagonism for a humanized health work. It is discussed how the experiences of the project remain in the later professional practice, starting from the parallel between the daily work of health and the extension project, since the activities made possible practical experiences in the health scenario, through the play. It was also observed the influence of the Storytelling in the professional practice of the participants, assisting in the interaction between the patient and the health team and serving as a support for a humanized practice.
