Abstract

ROSSI, Maira Dominato  and  VIDAL, Paulo Viana. Psychoanalysis and hospital: considerations about the clinical support during hospitalization. Rev. SBPH [online]. 2020, vol.23, n.2, pp. 15-24. ISSN 1516-0858.

This paper proposes to articulate the place of the psychoanalytical clinic within the hospitalization based on the argument presented by Lacan (1966/2001) about the place of psychoanalysis within medicine. Recovering the discussion about science, knowledge, truth and subject, as presented by the psychoanalytic theory, our proposal was to think about how the subversion of the subject, in which Lacan (1960/1998) supports his critique of science occurs and, thus, to investigate the concepts of real, symbolic and imaginary as they emerge and can be articulated by the psychoanalytical practice in the hospitalization.

Keywords : psychoanalysis; hospital; subject; science.
