Abstract

HIKITA, Patrícia Haruko; SCHNEIDER, Venicius Scott  and  SANTOS, Bruno Vinícius Borges de Seabra. Aggressivity in the hospital as a question for psychoanalysis: an experience report. Rev. SBPH [online]. 2022, vol.25, n.1, pp. 122-132. ISSN 1516-0858.  http://dx.doi.org/10.57167/Rev-SBPH.v25.034.

The work consists of an experience report on aggressiveness, based on the reference of Freud's work and Lacan's teaching in the early 1950s, described through a clinical case, observed in a public hospital located in the state of Paraná, in which a family member of a patient, admitted in a palliative care sector, presented aggressive manifestations when faced the death of his brother. In the study, we followed the path of aggressiveness genesis, its signs and its possible managements. We propose that the aggressiveness emerges correlated to the self, comprising an imaginary reciprocal specular dimension, indicating that the intervention must occur through the symbolic dimension, according to the L scheme, as established by Lacan in 1954, of the intersubjective dialectic. This perception allows the subject to receive his own message in an inverted way.

Keywords : aggressiveness; hospital; psychoanalysis.
