Abstract

The work aims to argue the Winnicott’s concept of potential space and sample as this concept was important in the attendance of a family whose complaint was difficulty of learning of one of its members. From my experience, I want to show that the potential space between the familiar and the therapeutical system propitiated a safe continent for the play, for the creation of symbols and meanings that still made sense for the customer and its familiar group and, yet, for that the legacies of its culture could be introduced as enrichment elements of the understanding of the familiar dynamics.
