The presence of wanderings is more and more notable in brazilian roads. Several studies have been done with this population, but few emphasis has been given to psychological characteristics of this people. With the purpose to investigate personality aspects of them, the Machover’s Human Figure Drawing was applied in twelve wanderings sheltered in an assistential institute of São Carlos (SP) city. The grafic produtions were valued and analyzed in their formal, general and content aspects. The formulated interpretations indicate that the studied people have a body image branded by inadequacy and depreciation feelings. It had been noted the existence of sexual conflicts signals, hardness in social relationships and inclination to alcoholism. Those interpretations are not conclusive, but contribute to the compreension of important psychodynamics aspects of this populations.
