Abstract

The present article broaches the importance of family influences on personal development by looking at emotional, cognitive, and language issues or, in other words, in understanding and learning the world. The article emphasizes the need for partnerships between the families of kids with learning and communication disturbances and specialists (the speech pathologist and the psychopedagogue) who, when paying attention to a child’s familiar dynamic, will develop more productive and efficient work which provides for and assures the growth of his patient in all aspects.
