The Single Health System understood as new formularization politics and of organization aims at to prevention of illnesses and the protection and recovery of health. They are part of these actions those directed toward the Health Promotion, guided for the improvement of the quality of life. In the scope of the Basic Attention, these actions, many of the times, are in charge of the professional psychologists. The article analyzes the challenges ranks for performance of these professionals in the development of its action, taking as base the study of developed case enters the primary care units (PCU) of a region of the city of Vitória-ES. The research if developed by means of interviews with the psychologists of PCU and with systematic accompaniment of the actions. It was observed that, although still actions of private and individual character to persist, were possible to perceive an effort in the affirmation of a new position enter the professionals.
