NICOLINO, Victor Faria  and  ZANOTTO, Maria de Lourdes Bara. Historical review of research in Behavior Analysis special education/inclusion published in Jaba between 2001 e 2008. Psicol. teor. prat. [online]. 2010, vol.12, n.2, pp. 51-79. ISSN 1516-3687.

This research aims to update and deepen the historical review of what has been produced in Behavior Analysis and special education/inclusion from the analysis of research articles published in Jaba (Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis) in the period between 2001 and 2008. Articles (46) are examined for the following variables: participants, type of research, design, change agent/observation of behavior, setting, measure of the target behavior, behavioral intervention procedure, theme, and purpose of the research and results obtained. The results show that most research is experimental, and uses the participant school as setting. The researcher himself is the agent of change/observation of behavior more frequent, and the procedure for establishing stimulus control on specific repertoires is the most adopted. Most of the participants is made up of people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, aged from 6 to 10 years. The most frequent theme is language (verbal responses vocal and non-vocal), followed by the theme conduct, with researches about self-control, disruptive behavior, aggression/self-injury and inappropriate contact.
