Through a participative methodology, institutional/community information with the parents/granparents' life historical were elaborated, resulting in an intervention that valued the subjective experiences as an instrument to find out the real meaning of the parents/granparents' role and of their empowerment as citizens, even revealing this empowerment as partners of the institution, searching for solutions collectively.
