SANTIAGO, Eneida; BORTOLLOTI, Patrícia Aparecida  e  BANA, Amanda Garbim. Forced cooperation ties between prison and convicted agents in prison intramuros. Cad. psicol. soc. trab. [online]. 2020, vol.23, n.2, pp. 129-142. ISSN 1516-3717.  http://dx.doi.org/10.11606/issn.1981-0490.v23i2p129-142.

In this article, we discuss the dynamics of the cooperative ties between two groups of obligatory conviviality in the prison context, prisoners and inmates. From the methodological and analytical perspective of Psychodynamics of Work, we retrieve contents from a group space, about 4 years, with agents debating the mismatch between prescribed work and real work in prison surveillance daily life. As a result, we identified that the cooperative ties within groups and between groups play a strategic role in managing the complexity of work in a scenario permeated by risks and mismatches between planned and achievable activities of daily life marked by precariousness, overcrowding and servants insufficient. As an articulated phenomenon, forced cooperation between agents and prisoners imposes the challenge of collaborating with someone who is not trusted, which produces significant destabilizations and compromises to the mental health of the civil servants, in addition to raising individual and collective vulnerabilities.
