Abstract

AIRES, Suely. Parapraxes: interpretation and meaning. Nat. hum. [online]. 2017, vol.19, n.1, pp. 24-37. ISSN 1517-2430.

In this article, we will try to discuss some aspects of the first part of the Introductory Lectures to Psychoanalysis (1916-1917), dedicated to the faulty acts, in order to indicate a certain way of construction and addressing of Freud to the listener/reader. We intend to follow the argumentative development of the lectures and highlight the construction of a reading procedure that necessarily implies the place of the interpreter. In this direction, we highlight three constitutive steps of the Freudian argument: the assumption of an alterity, the equivalence between meaning, meaning and intention, and the presentation of theoretical assumptions throughout its reading procedure.

Keywords : parapraxis; Freud; psychoanalysis.
