Resumen

FONSECA, José Sérgio Duarte da. Posthuman vulnerability, criticism, and the agency of the matter. Nat. hum. [online]. 2018, vol.20, n.1, pp. 58-68. ISSN 1517-2430.

The aim of this paper is to gauge the possibility of producing a theoretical perspective which might be capable of describing the ways in which social and political criticism are given in view of a posthuman ontology. Therefore, we examine some aspects of the theoretical productions of Judith Butler and Karen Barad, markedly the ones related to Levinasian ethics, in order to grasp to what extent they may contribute towards producing a theoretical perspective that is both critic and posthuman, focused on what I shall call "posthuman vulnerability".

Palabras clave : ontology; posthumanism; ethics.
