Abstract

GIUBILATO, Giovanni Jan. The Project of a "Metapolitics" in Martin Heidegger's Black Notebooks (1931-1941). Nat. hum. [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.1, pp. 73-83. ISSN 1517-2430.

This paper intends to elucidate the intriguing concept of meta-politics and explore its implications within Heidegger's thought of a history of being, especially in the 1930s. This conceptual hermeneutics combines old materials with the new textual basis provided by the recent publication of the first volumes of Heidegger's "Black Notebooks" which, regardless of their excessive media exposure and summary readings in the last years, represent an important interpretative challenge for a new and independent Heidegger-research. And so, even if Heidegger's meta-politics does not concern the rerum humanarum but, rather, the being itself and its empowerment, dangerously supporting an intellectual National Socialism, it ends to be an intellectual and personal break down.

Keywords : Heidegger; Black Notebooks; Meta-Politics.
