The primary purpose of this article is to discuss the difference between aggressive, violent, anti-social and delinquent behavior. The authors seek first to clarify the difference between aggressive and violent behavior, according to the Freudian theory. In the second part of the article, using Winnicott's contribution on anti-social and delinquent behavior, they will analyze the interaction between such behaviors and the contemporary family. According to the authors when dealing with both children and adolescents violence can not be viewed apart form its inscription in the culture.
