Abstract

MEDINA, Marta Susana. El sujeto ante la ley: la declinación de lo simbólico en el sujeto, consecuencias. Rev. Mal-Estar Subj. [online]. 2007, vol.7, n.2, pp. 259-268. ISSN 1518-6148.

The goal of this paper is to show, from freudian-lacanian psychoanalysis and from Lèvi-Strauss anthropology, that the human being is such insofar as he/she is subject to a normative order; in such a way that when that order vanishes, a violence ensues depriving the subject from his/her own individual features, and the human institutions are razed. The ban stirs up a universe of symbols that permit natural human substitutions, allowing he/she to create a singular world, with rights and wishes. Thus, when that order vanishes, the creation, the freedom, the subject, is nullified. Therefore, when the very system which must state the laws corrupt and goes against them, we are in front of one of the most devastating kinds of violence. So, broken the limit that allows the subject to substitute the bans by means of the language, he/she is left facing two options: to get lost in the violence of bans, or to yield to violence without pacts from atrocious masters. Such is the situation that we analyze in current neo-liberal societies. On the other hand, responsibility and guilt vanish after the submission, as far as they are always referred to the master, or acted with the sacrifice and the death.

Keywords : order vanishes; depriving subjective; violence; submission; law.
