The objective of this article is to analyze the hypermodern city considering the idea of leisure as a form of consumption to attainment/ states of happiness. It has been more/ present/ over the time that the city of leisure is intensified as something in which it is deposited expectation of pleasure. The time dedicated to leisure is experienced as a practice that reinforces the actions supported by the same instrumental mechanisms which serves to guarantee the perpetuation of the economical logic. This city promotes illusions that should be desired through ephemeral diversions molded by the market industry. By the way, there is a volunteer adhesion that moves people in direction to consumption. Nowadays, the leisure signify have time to consumption. The felicity model is the attractive of leisure in the cities. With this scene in mind, we reflect about the ways by which the leisure interferes in/ sociability and subjectivity. For us, it's also representing a form of psychic suffering.
