XAVIER, Rejane Botelho Teodoro; FERREIRA, Cláudio Vital de Lima  and  PARAVIDINI, João Luiz Leitão. Adolescent in conflict with the law: maternal role and the transmission of the name of the father. Rev. Mal-Estar Subj. [online]. 2011, vol.11, n.1, pp. 41-64. ISSN 1518-6148.

This work aims to reflect on the maternal role, specifically with respect to question the way that the discourse of the mother is allowed or not a transmission of the Name of the Father, in cases of adolescents in conflict with the law, taking into account the contemporary family configurations, which do not have the same size as those that led to theories of the Oedipus complex. From this scope we analyzed how this affects a teenager when her mother acting as Other Primordial will be questioned again and time also the adolescent to separate from their primordial objects. Reference to a psychoanalytic reading, we analyzed the configuration of the one family in which the teenager was serving socio-educational Assisted Freedom, allowing the collection of qualitative information such as the various dimensions of femininity from where I was possible to understand the Other Primordial construction and the desiring subject who operated the transmission of the Name of the Father. The results were the flattening of the relationship between parents and children in contemporary society and the fragility of the appointment father in cases of adolescents in conflict with the law, leading the adolescent offender to act as a way to do this precarious substitutive appointment.
