Abstract

ROSA JR, Norton Cezar Dal Follo da  and  POLI, Maria Cristina. Fetishism: maternal Phallus and "Jouissance" in view of the inanimate. Rev.Mal-Estar Subj [online]. 2012, vol.12, n.3-4, pp. 663-682. ISSN 1518-6148.

In the course of this paper, we pursue to highlight some key aspects in the work of Freud as well as in Lacan's teaching about fetishism and perversion. These classics, accompanied by clinical details, lead us to hypothesize that the fetish represents a sort of a mother's addressing towards her son, to the extent that it is a significant part of her eroticized body that falls onto his imaginary, an insignia of the object of the mother's desire that would be fixed from the previous generation. This analysis is approached within Lacan's the elaborations of the cycle of Albertine's classic "In Search of Lost Time" by Marcel Proust.

Keywords : Fetishism; Perversion; Psychoanalysis; Jouissance; Inanimate.
