The purpose of this article is to contribute to the debate about social justice taking as reference the world of work and the world of goods with respect to the constitutive and evaluative aspects of both spheres. In this perspective, the article revisits the theories on the goods in order to reflect on the role of property in everyday life, the distribution of work in the public space and its consequences. In the first part of the paper develops the general argument, according to which the work consists in a well. In the second part, the approach refers to those aspects of the structuring and distribution of work in public space and its consequences. The adoption of these analytical procedures allows a greater understanding of the uniqueness and the ways to produce and reproduce various forms of social inequality. The findings point to the fact that work is very important in access, produces an original model of rationality and constitutes an important moral source.
