Abstract

CARDOZA, Isabela Fonseca  and  RIBEIRO, Heloisa Fernandes Caldas. The invention of women facing the inventions of techno-science. Rev.Mal-Estar Subj [online]. 2013, vol.13, n.3-4, pp. 573-590. ISSN 1518-6148.

This paper intends to discuss the imperatives of contemporary jouissance caused by what Lacan called "the capitalist discourse", in relation to semblance of the feminine. On one side, the current women achievements of a dreamed "freedom" stand out; on the other side, they clearly bring a counter point not so promising. To hold places of phallic power make women subject, but does that approach them to womanliness? That is the question we want to raise. Supported by Lacanian logic demonstration that we cannot universalize "Women," we question the techno-science that aim to make out of the contemporary woman A woman without failure?

Keywords : discourse of the capitalist; womanliness; techno-sciences; contemporaneity.
