Abstract

SILVA, Mônica Eulália da. The manager analyst. Rev.Mal-Estar Subj [online]. 2013, vol.13, n.3-4, pp. 731-748. ISSN 1518-6148.

This research study to what extent the practice of a Lacanian analyst who occupies the place of a manager in the field of public mental health implies or not the dismissal of psychoanalysis. One of the goals of this study was to contribute to the establishment of a possible relationship between the practice of applied Lacanian oriented psychoanalysis and the field of public health policies. This is a subject little studied in the Lacanian field, despite an increasing number of psychoanalysts occupying management positions in the fields of mental health, education, social care and legal resources. The method used as a basis for this study was the Theory of Speeches, elaborated by Jacques Lacan in his "Seminar 17, The Reversal of Psychoanalysis". Departing from the relationship between the master's discourse, representing the field of politics, and the analyst's discourse, as being his own clinical practice, an emphasis was put on the relationship between the aspects relating to the location and functions performed in the field of public management. These refections formed the basis for the formalization of the concept of "manager analyst".

Keywords : psychoanalysis; management; speech; analyst; policy.
