Abstract

The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is characterized by a neurodevelopmental disorder that causes damage social, and behavioral communication. The engine development is not one of the diagnostic criteria, but some researchers have discussed this importance to early intervention. The aim of this study was to survey and analyze articles that have focused on methods motor evaluation of individuals with ASD, through databases Bireme and Pubmed. "The method used was qualitative descriptive character, using specific descriptors:" autism "and" skill engine "," autism "and" disorders motor skills ", found 120 articles published between 2011 and 2016. Of this total, 12 used and cited or some kind of test of motor skills. The hued literature difficulties in motor skills are present in individuals with ASD and may impact the cognitive and social life, as motor skills are present in these contexts. It is concluded that more research should be a focus on motor skills for diagnosis and interventions for individuals with ASD.
