The goal of these work is to reflection about social politics that has as background the confront to get the earth in Espírito Santo State, occurred in January, 2006. This reflection have as hypothesis that the social and environmental issue are correlated. The analysis were constructed based in the theoretical revision that have centered bases in the presents aspects in the research of the public politics and some documents published in the capixaba media that reported the fact. It has permitted to evidence a logic of the capitalist production that has root a discourse of the sustained development present in the conflict surrounding of the propriety and of use of the earth. In this sense, one gets contribution with reflection about the issue of the indigenous people point out scene that it configuration in the discourse of the media and point out invisibility of the ideological order.
