Abstract

PARISI, Elio Rodolfo  and  MANZI, Adrián. Modernity and humanism in Michel Foucault. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2010, vol.10, n.19, pp. 15-23. ISSN 2175-1390.

A Rosseau and Kant are considered today members of modernity and as makers of it at that time. The two common among them is the emphasis placed on the man passes a certain age and social organization to another. Human rights can be considered as a constituent part of the hinge of this transition from one age to an older age or state to state. Relying on the Universality of Human Rights as a valid formal structure and unique, so we will know is a child of secularism. It could be that at this process as a transformation on modernity, is the strong humanist hue that is placed increasingly on Human Rights so as to enable them to be placed or used for coloring any way indistinctively social, political or economic.

Keywords : Modernity; Humanism; Human rights; Tension; Political psychology.
