Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to understand through literature review how racial relations among white and blacks are represented in media. The framework employed to understand the phenomenon is the articulation of the established and outsiders concept with two other concepts taken from the social psychology. A conceptual model is proposed in order to explain the phenomenon in the Brazilian context.
