This paper is a consideration concerning power as a product of living activity and human culture, and emphasizes the apprenticeship as a means through which power is developed. There is a focus on an argument on the need for the empowerment of individuals in educational, and on evaluating if individual ability is being developed as a means of transforming domination by private interests to domination by collective ones, therefore ensuring a commitment with the transmission of knowledge and the formation of consciousness. Attention is given to the need for the teaching through the empowerment of individual and the role of education in accomplishing this task. A proposition on the formation of children’s character linked to the education of power and domination directed to humanization by means of political education since elementary school is presented as a conclusion.
