Abstract

MEIRA, Fabio Bitencourt. "Minority groups": form and organicity of the (so-called) solidary enterprises. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2012, vol.12, n.23, pp. 121-137. ISSN 2175-1390.

The article adopts the Social Psychology of Eugène Enriquez as a frame of reference to discuss the organization of Solidary Economy Enterprises (SEE). These organizations have been labeled "self-managed", for supposedly produce in democratic bases counteracting capitalist environmental pressures. The purpose is to apprehend their form and organicity in relation to environmental pressures. The construction of social bonds promoting forms of democratic management is in focus. The article central thesis is that the Enriquezian concept 'minority group' facilitates the understanding of the dilemmas implied. Minority group's form seems to express coherently the form of SEE, their problems and difficulties. Conclusively, the SEE trajectory is thought as a passage from the group to the organization, in a process relatively undetermined, but strongly influenced by the group dynamics: the group working over itself to deal with its selflimitation, illusions and realizations.
