Abstract

ZANELLA, Andréa Vieira; LEVITAN, Déborah; ALMEIDA, Gabriel Bueno de  and  FURTADO, Janaína Rocha. About resistances. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2012, vol.12, n.24, pp. 247-262. ISSN 2175-1390.

The discussions about resistance have been frequent in different fields of knowledge and from different perspectives. This article aims to contribute to this discussion, questioning some of the social practices of young people in urban contexts, specifically those that are characterized by their size inventive. To promote the debate three pieces of papers that have focused on creative processes engendered by young people in different contexts and conditions are presented. The contemporary conditions cause us to look at these aesthetic and artistic practices ephemeral, momentary, anonymous, considering them as interventions that claim to new ways of living and working in urban areas. Through these interventions, although not characterized as oppositional resistance, young people resist forms of bondage and submission assigned to them, to oblivion and the condition are relegated to the margins. They fight, create, resist and insist. Finally, they reexist, hence the assumption of such practices as reXistances.
