MACHADO, Frederico Viana. Subjectivity and identity politics: contributions of jacques rancière for political psychology. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2013, vol.13, n.27, pp. 261-280. ISSN 1519-549X.
This paper explores Jacques Ranciere's contributions to the field of Political Psychology in Brazil. We focus our discussion on Ranciere's concept of political subjectivity for two reasons. First, for this concept attests the possibility of a democratic transformation. Second, because political subjectivity is an important analytical tool for re-envisioning the current uses of the concept of identity. Furthermore, we peruse the definition of Political Psychology based on our previous analysis of Ranciere's influence in the Brazilian context.
