Abstract

HUR, Domênico Uhng. Memory and forgetfulness: negative pact and guerrilla narcissistic contract. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2014, vol.14, n.31, pp. 481-498. ISSN 1519-549X.

This article intends to discuss the memory's conflicts over the period of the military dictatorship from the construction of the character of Revolution's traitor on the former-guerrilla fighter Celso Lungaretti. We debated the instituted version of guerrilla's memory with his version, which are radically different, through the concept of collective memory, appropriated by the psychoanalyst Kaës. The method was developed through bibliographical review about this event and an interview with Lungaretti. We noted that the constructed collective memory supports a negative pact and a narcissistic contract, covering the traumatic memories and constituting a common founding myth. On the one hand, heroic guerrilla-fighters who struggled bravely against the dictatorship, on the other, traitors who received the negative attributions for the failure of guerrilla's project, becoming themselves the scapegoat. Support: CNPq and CAPES.

Keywords : Military Dictatorship; Psychoanalysis; Guerrilla; Memory; Political Psychology.
