Abstract

GONCALVES, Ruth Maria de Paula  and  YAMAMOTO, Oswaldo Hajime. Theoretical and practical foundations of the social psychology: a necessary historical debate. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2015, vol.15, n.32, pp. 17-31. ISSN 1519-549X.

Supported in Marxist Lukácsian ontology, we assume that the strengthening of the relationship between theory and practice directly implies our involvement in the men's world. Going against the grain of the subjectivist theoricism that weakens the apprehension of reality, the objective of this paper is to present a brief recovery of social psychology in Brazil. We highlight the contribution of Silvia Lane in this area and the movement that culminated in the creation of the Brazilian Association of Social Psychology (ABRAPSO). We scrutinize the theoretical foundations that are basing the praxis of the social psychologist from studies on the fragmentary analyses which discuss with property fragmentary analyses of the psychology against social issues. The real on the move requires the praxis as a horizon, considering the ineliminable relationship between subjectivity and objectivity.
