Abstract

PATTI, Ane Ribeiro; SOUSA, Lucília Maria Abrahão e  and  GARCIA, Dantielli Assumpção. In the web of discourse analysis: in the threads of Michel Pêcheux. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2017, vol.17, n.39, pp. 220-231. ISSN 1519-549X.

In this text, we seek to revisit the emergence of Discourse Analysis theorized by Michel Pêcheux in the Paris of the 1960s, in May 1968. To this end, we return to the main interlocutors with whom Pêcheux maintained a dialogue (Ferdinand de Saussure, Louis Althusser, Jacques Lacan) and to the way in which such a philosopher, in a theoretical interval, displaced concepts from Linguistics, Historical Materialism and Psychoanalysis, questioning the evidences (of the subject, of the meanings, of history) to establish another mode of theoretical/analytical inscription in Human and Social Sciences, in which the notion of subject (affected by ideology and the unconscious), left to one side by structuralism until then, is placed at the center of theorizations.

Keywords : Discourse Analysis; Michel Pêcheux; Subject; Human and Social Sciences.
