Abstract

LEOPOLDO, Rafael. Analysis of the anti-Oedipus: criticism from Deleuze and Guattari to Sigmund Freud. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2017, vol.17, n.39, pp. 293-303. ISSN 1519-549X.

This paper is a brief and precise analysis of the book Anti-Oedipus: capitalism and schizophrenia, by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Therefore, we focus on five topics: 1) the book machine; 2) psychiatry and psychoanalysis; 3) the critique of desire; 4) critique of unconscious; 5) and the centrality of the Oedipus complex. This investigation has as main to reaffirm the dialogue of philosophers with psychoanalysis, especially the Freudian psychoanalysis. Reopen this dialogue is appoint the importance of philosophy as a knowing that so many times show himself as critique of psychoanalysis. Thus, we do not believe that Anti-Oedipus: capitalism and schizophrenia is just "a farewell to psychoanalysis". The work by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari seems to us an inductor for a dialogue that has not yet taken its final consequences; philosophy being challenged by psychoanalysis; and psychoanalysis being challenged by the philosophy in a productive way.

Keywords : schizoanalysis; unconscious; Oedipus complex.
