Abstract

QUIXADA, Luciana Martins. Tensions in the classroom: resistance, learning and subjectivation of children. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2018, vol.18, n.41, pp. 125-136. ISSN 1519-549X.

This article presents the results of a thesis research, whose main objective was to investigate the construction of the child's conception of written language. For this, we considered the dynamics of inter-subjective discourses in reading and writing activities in the classroom, in which theories of Vygotsky and Bakhtin were fundamental. The subjects were seven children and two elementary school teachers from a public school in Fortaleza-CE. Methodologically, the instruments were the drawing, field diaries and weekly audio and video recordings of the discursive interactions. The analysis established a relationship between the drawings and excerpts of these interactions. It was observed that the tensions between the subjectivities of the teachers and the children were central in the construction of the child's conception about the written language and its participation in the proposed activities. The children struggled to learn even if it meant subverting the established order.

Keywords : child; learning; literacy; subjectivation; subversion.
