Abstract

HUR, Domenico Uhng  and  COUTO, Maria Luiza Bitencourt Silva. City occupations: politics of multitude in production of the common. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.45, pp. 261-274. ISSN 2175-1390.

The recent political movements of urban occupations seem to bring something new in the field of political mobilization. This article aims to know the discourses of school occupations participants in Goiás, to discuss the configurations of forces in their political practices. We conducted two group interviews with occupations participants. This phenomen was analyzed from the concepts of contemporary authors, such as Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri. We considered that a new political actor arises, the multitude, and new political practices produce a city in common. We concluded that occupations express the resistance power against the capitalist diagram. They bring a new configuration of forces expressed by the words "Occupy and resist " and no longer by the classic "Take power ".
